Samuel Bilodeau

Sam is the Head of Technology & Post, colorist, and workflow manager at Mystery Box. With a background in IT and photography, he has a passion for using the best and greatest technology to produce the most compelling content. He's constantly testing new tools, following and analyzing industry trends, and working to improve our image pipelines through advanced workflows and technical mastery. He is part of the Mystery Box team that released the first series of first 4K videos, HDR, and then later 8K videos to the public.

Sam's second loves are learning and education. He thrives on diving deep into understanding how things work. While in college, he developed and taught classes about post production and the technology of digital filmmaking as an adjunct faculty member. Shortly thereafter he started an educational YouTube channel, which he ran independently as a hobby for a couple of years. He now writes the technical education portions of the Mystery Box blog.
