Tamerlane is an independent feature film that tells the origin story behind the brilliant and controversial 14th century conqueror Amir Timur, best known as Tamerlane. Tamerlane follows the forgotten history of a brutal revenge story that turned a humble warrior into the most ruthless conqueror of the known world, Timur the Lame.
